Hi - My Name is Cole, and welcome to Fourth Floor Bakery.

I didn't grow up watching TV; I grew up watching my mom cook.

The kitchen was always the most interesting room in the house, and that hasn’t changed. From making bagels in my college apartment to working as a pastry baker in New York City, food has shaped nearly every aspect of my life.

My obsession with the perfect cookie started quietly. Late-night test batches, different flours, browned butter, and more cookies than I could eat alone.

Eventually, that obsession found its way into other people's freezers. Friends, neighbors, anyone who would take a bag and report back. The feedback loop became addictive, and so did the mission.

I'm a firm believer that a truly great cookie shouldn't require a trip anywhere. It should be waiting for you. It should be for your roommates after a long day, for the friends who show up on a Friday night, or for that quiet moment you carve out just for yourself.

That's what this is. Cookies made in small batches, quality ingredients, and ready whenever you are.
